What you get
The delivery package
Four files and one clear next step. The tune is yours to keep.
The tune file
One file for your computer, built from the read and log you send. Flash it with your own interface and license.
The change list
Plain English. What moved, what stayed as supplied and why. Each change keeps its before value.
The comparison
A side-by-side view of the read you sent and the file we deliver.
The logging steps
The channels and the drive for the follow-up log, so the next revision starts from evidence.
The first file is the start. Send the follow-up log and we check the result against the change list.
Build and inputs
What this test order started with
A 2013 Mustang GT with the 5.0 Coyote, a GEN1 Copperhead PCM and the 6R80 automatic. The build sheet lists 8 psi of boost and 93 octane.
| Item | Test order |
|---|---|
| Vehicle | 2013 Ford Mustang GT |
| Engine | 5.0 Coyote, GEN1 |
| PCM / transmission | Copperhead / 6R80 automatic |
| Induction / fuel | Supercharged, 8 psi / 93 octane gasoline |
| Inputs | One read and the build sheet |
| Request | Rev-cutoff headroom at wide-open throttle |
The build sheet is test data. The page does not publish a VIN, serial, file name or order number.
Example
What a change list looks like
This test order requested one change: a little more rpm before the cutoff. That is the whole change list. The same order read the fuel, spark and knock, torque and 6R80 families and left them as supplied because no change was requested. That is the honest limit of this example.
| Table / cell | Before | After | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| RPM Limit Cutoff | 7,000 rpm | 7,100 rpm | You asked for a little more usable rpm at wide-open throttle. The new cutoff stays 200 rpm below the 7,300 rpm stock valvetrain rating. |
Compared with our tune values
Where the delivered file sits
The comparison uses the read you send and the file we deliver. The reference column is the matching value or limit from our tune values and the build sheet. It is not a claim that every Ford file gets the same number.
| Item | Your read | Our tune values | Delivered file | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| RPM Limit Cutoff | 7,000 rpm | The stock GEN1 Coyote cutoff is 7,000 rpm. The build sheet rates the stock valvetrain to 7,300 rpm. | 7,100 rpm | Applied |
| Tables compared | 139 read | 139 in the exporter's verification scope | 139 verified | 0 unexpected |
| File identity | GEN1 / Copperhead, 6R80 | Same controller and transmission family | GEN1 / Copperhead, 6R80 | Verified |
139 tables were read and compared before and after. The one requested value read back at 7,100 rpm. 0 unexpected changes. Compared against our 3 million+ tune values, with a final check-off by our lead tuner.
What stayed as supplied
Families read, no change requested
These families were read in the same test order. They stayed as supplied because the request was the rev cutoff only.
| Family | Tables read | Result | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fuel | Injector flow, pressure and transient fuel | Read, unchanged | No fuel or injector change was requested. |
| Spark and knock | Borderline knock, transient spark and knock limits | Read, unchanged | No spark change was requested. |
| Torque and pedal | Driver demand, torque model and throttle | Read, unchanged | No drivability change was requested. |
| 6R80 | Shift, TCC and torque-limit tables | Read, unchanged | No shift change was requested. |
| Fans | Fan speed and enable tables | Read, unchanged | No cooling change was requested. |
The test order read these families. It did not change them. This page does not invent another request.
The honest limit
One test order, not a promise about every Coyote
This sample proves the format and the comparison: a real read, a real before value, a real delivered value. It also shows 139 tables checked before and after. It does not prove a power gain, a dyno result or a universal Coyote recipe. A broader Ford order starts with a symptom and a log, and the change list follows the evidence for that build.
Test data only. The page contains no customer name, VIN, serial, email or real order.
