Tune service terms

What the service is

A Tune Report covers the tune file and logs you send. It is compared against our 3 million+ tune values, with a final check-off by our lead tuner, and the findings are written in plain English. We do not change your file. Full Custom is one engine file written from the file and log you send. The price and the included revision window are the same on every platform. Honda & Acura (K-series) covers port-injected K20/K24 only, including a K-swapped chassis entered with its chassis year; Honda & Acura (Turbo) covers the published Civic applications: 2016–2021 sedan and 2016–2020 coupe plus 2017–2020 Si (L15B7), the 2017–2021 hatchback (L15BA), the 2022–2023 non-Si (L15B7), the 2022–2023 Si (L15CA), and the 2017–2021 or 2023 Civic Type R K20C. Other applications need a coverage check before ordering.

What we need from you

Send a file that your tuning software saved, not a screenshot or a handheld backup. Tell us the vehicle, computer, transmission, fuel and any changes. If we cannot read the file, we tell you and ask for another one.

Where the car is used

You are responsible for following the emissions, road-use and competition rules that apply where you live. TuneBible does not remove emissions equipment, and a tune is not a compliance device.

Safety

Tuning carries risk. You are responsible for the condition of the car, the fuel in it, the interface and the flashing process. Do not raise a rev limiter on stock valve springs. Stop and ask us if a change does not make sense.

Full Custom payment and refunds

Full Custom is a launch special at $199 (regular $249), paid by card through Stripe before the build starts. The price is the same on every platform: Mopar, Ford, and Honda & Acura. There are no stage tiers. You can cancel for a full refund any time before we deliver the file. After delivery, the included revisions are for the same combination of parts and fuel; a new combination is a new order.

HP Tuners, Hondata and other tuning hardware, interfaces and credits are not included. You need your own interface and the credits your software requires to flash the file.

Revisions

Full Custom includes 10 revisions over 60 days from first delivery. A revision request is for a change in the car, a log, or a correction we made. It is not a new build for a different engine, cam, injector, fuel or power adder. Requests are accepted only after the order is paid and the first file is delivered, and only inside the 10-revision and 60-day limits.

Turnaround

Turnaround is per service. Mopar and Ford Coyote Tune Reports and Mopar Full Custom usually take 24-48 hours from complete inputs, and always within 3 business days. Ford Coyote Full Custom, Honda & Acura (K-series) (Tune Report and Full Custom) and Honda & Acura (Turbo) (Tune Report and Full Custom) usually take 3-5 business days from complete inputs, and always within 7 business days. Every Full Custom file is compared against our 3 million+ tune values, with a final check-off by our lead tuner.

Privacy

We use your email for your orders. We do not start a guest Tune Report until you confirm the email link. Stripe handles the card; we keep the payment record, not the card number. Customer questions posted on an order are deleted 30 days after posting, even if the order is still open. Support emails are separate and are deleted 30 days after the question closes. An unconfirmed Tune Report and its files are deleted within 72 hours. Read the privacy page for what we store and how to ask us to delete it.
